The Mysteries of Migration

Learners will participate in the on-going migration monitoring research of the Ruthven Park Bird Banding Station through bird banding and the recording of observations in the field.

The reasons for, and methodology of, migration will be discussed, as will the human impacts that make migration such a hazardous undertaking.

Targeted Age Groups: Grades 4, 6 and 7 (ages 9-13)

Program Length: 2.5 Hours

Cost: $7.00 per student
