Chicken Fingers

Through a visit to the bird banding station learners will be shown the physical characteristics of birds, and the distinguishing attributes that make them different from other animals though the use of captured wild birds.

Learners will conduct research at the bird feeder stations at Ruthven Park to determine which feeder types and bird feed are preferred.

Targeted Age Groups: Grades 1 and 2 (ages 7-9)

Program Length: 2.5 Hours

Cost: $7.00 per student
