Guided Hike: Preparing for Canadian Winter

  • Ruthven Park National Historic Site 243 Haldimand County Highway 54 Cayuga, ON, N0A 1E0 Canada (map)

As Canadians we have become quite familiar with how to prepare for winter. We prepare our homes, unpack winter clothes, and mentally get ready for the long winter season. What do our animal friends do in nature though? Come walk with a member of Ruthven Park staff to explore how some of the animals at Ruthven Park get ready for winter and why they do it so early!
