Spring has finally arrived! Come and visually celebrate this wonderful season by painting your own masterpiece inspired by the passage of time and seasons. Local artist and educator, Heather Gross will lead you in exploring the pleasures of putting pigment to canvas to capture the colours, warmth and excitement of spring. No previous painting experience is necessary. All art materials will be supplied and you’ll take home your completed work of art at the end of the evening!

Artist’s Bio

Heather Gross’ artistic inspiration comes from nature found in her Haldimand backyard and from far away places. Painting from real life and photos, Heather captures the interplay of light, shadow, shape, pattern, texture and colour in her home studio in Cayuga. Botanical art has recently captured her interest. Heather’s art was on display in the ‘Art of the Plant’ exhibition at the Canadian Museum of Nature, Stone Wall Gallery, in Ottawa (May – October 2018). Her botanical work is currently on display at the Nature Art Studio in Toronto. Sharing her passion, Heather enjoys teaching painting in Cayuga
